Safe Internet Day (GIG) has been organized every February since 2004 by the INSAFE / INHOPE joint network, with the support of the European Commission to promote safe and positive use of digital technologies, especially among children and young people. It has been an important milestone in the online security calendar in more than 170 countries.
Safe Internet Day, which is celebrated on the second day of the second week of the second month of each year, will be celebrated on February 9, 2021 this year, and millions of supporters from all over the world will join forces "Together for a better internet".
